Revell Corvette C7 Stingray

Nicknamed the 'Sinkray" because of all the sink marks in the body that need to be filled.

I painted this one with Cobra Colors Porsche Meridian Metallic with gloss black roof and gunmetal rear end. The vents, grille and spoiler are metallic black. Interior is Acryl Aircraft Interior black. Slight paint mod was leaving the A pillars body color instead of black as the real car has.

The wheel are Hobby Design BBS F1's painted gloss black, brakes are Fujimi 599 GTB copies.

Almost all of the parts that fit to the body have fitment issues and need to be either sanded or divided into more parts for best fit.

Nice looking Vette. Colour looks really good. There's a guy near me that has a red one, I drool a lot everytime I see him bombing around in it.

Re: Revell Corvette C7 Stingray

I like the subtle look of this, I need to set my silver F12berlinetta beside it, same basic color scheme...so many similarities.

A real beauty. The silver 'color' is very subtle but looks awesome in person.

Despite the issues you finished with a classy looking build. Nice colour combination.

You did a really good job! Its a shame that for such a simple kit, there are so many issues.

Re: Revell Corvette C7 Stingray

Nicely done. I wish Revell would make the corvette's 1/24 scale. To me there is a big difference in 1/25. They just look better in 1/24.

Thanks!

This is a curbside snap kit 1/25 scale, a semi full detailed version kit has just been released.
