Question 2015 Avalon Hybrid Headlights

I recently decided I would like to upgrade the headlights on my 2015 Avalon Hybrid XLE Touring to HID lamps. Does anyone have any suggestions with regard to a model I should go with, including any specifics (such as, 6000k, etc.)? I know this can be purchased at the dealership, but aftermarket is usually just as good and typically a lot cheaper ... and Amazon is very convenient.

Also, since I'm somewhat new to this, what are all the components I would need for a full conversion (I assume upper and lower beam, but do you also convert the fog lamps?).

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Question Re: 2015 Avalon Hybrid Headlights

Rather than an HID conversion kit, I was told by a mechanic that the trend is to go with LEDs. Has anyone heard this? If so, any recommendations regarding a specific model/brand LED for upper/lower beam, as well as other parts I may need?

Thanks!

Re: 2015 Avalon Hybrid Headlights

I bought a set of HID kit from Amazon and it's absolutely a piece of junk made in China. Broke within 2 weeks and the seller didn't even response back to me. Avoid those cheap kits on Amazon or eBay!
