’72 Chevy C/10 (Replica of my truck)

MPC cab, engine and chassis I repurposed from a step side kit I built in 1974. I started making it into a copy of my truck over 30 years ago and the project stalled at least 26 years ago. I picked it up a couple months ago. The camper is scratch-built along with lots of other goodies, a lot of kit-bashing as well.

The rust finish looks brilliant. Do you still have the real truck?

Cheers,
Anthony

I sold it a couple years ago after owning it for 27 years. I didn't make a profit, but it held its value very well.

Awesome result, and great weathering. All your scratch-work turned out great!

Re: ’72 Chevy C/10 (Replica of my truck)

Thanks guys! I added one more detail...

My near constant companion in my truck was Rocky, a 108 pound Golden Lab. A great dog that knew how to hog a bench seat. I modified a Hood Hounds figure and painted it to match.
