99 ranger hard shift
i have a 1999 ford ranger, 2wd 2.5 4 cyl. if you drive it normally the automatic shift fine but if you just barely give it any gas when you take off it goes BANG when it upshifts into 2nd gear and the truck lurches. if you keep your foot barely on the gas its also a bang shift into 3rd gear. if you drive it normal it doesn't seem to have any problems. fluid looks good. no engine light or od light flashing so the computer isn't seeing a problem? anyone have any ideas, maybe needs a fluid change or has a bad spot on the TPS?

I had a mass airflow sensor go bad and when it shifted is was very harsh. I would check that.
