Stuck 283

Bought a running 67 El Camino with a 283. Parked it in a dry shop. 15 months later the engine is stuck. Filled cylinders with diesel fuel, next day I could turn it over. I put plugs back in and it barely turns over. I turned it over many times
before I put plugs in again to, presumably, get all the fuel out. Why would it turn over so hard, and do I dare try to pull it around to loosen it more, as it has a three speed? I am apprehensive about wrecking something. Anticipating your
good advice.

Re: Stuck 283

Filled the cylinders, hmm, did you turn the engine over with no plugs to purge the fluid?
