What causes them to go out or what runs them

think its a electronic one running off a sensor on the output shaft on the transmission, usually its the sensor or a dirty connection on the plug to the sensor but it could also be the tach in the dash

Cool thanks I'll check it out they haven't worked for over 4 years and almost got a ticket last night and that ain't the first time

It also has problems shifting shifts really hard expecially in overdrive

Now on that 97 saturn sl how do you get them manual windows back on track

I'm just wondering if you have to take the outer skin off the door

usually the inner door panel but not 100% sure

I have a sl 1998 sedan. Last night i was driving back for sac. And tras. Started to slip from take off. But in third grear at 75 would work fine. But anything lower and i cant tell if its sliping or missing. Sitting still in park rpm work and runs fine. Some times hesitates to start.and it past smog just fine. And the ses light flashes. Can anyone help
