Intel my Ass!

Damn Piece of garbage!

I recently bought one of those Intel brand web cams, I have a friend with one, and he reccomended it. (I now know hes an idiot who couldnt tell the difference between a 150 x 150 res pic, and a 1200 x 1200 res pic) I bought it to use as a sort of really cheap digital camera for taking pics of models and stuff, and maybe possibly pushing the limit id use it to take some pics of my ride. I figured id have it attached via usb to my laptop, so i figured id just bring the laptop and cam to where ever I want to take a pic of, and use it to capture a pic, instead of making a vid. Im too poor to buy a digital camera thats any good, and I cant afford to take pics with my regular film camera, take em to be developed, and then scan them on my scanner. Also, the whole point is so I could take a pic now, and not have to wait for developing.

Well this turned out to be a fucking stupid idea. I think the camera I have is defective cause it does some really wierd shit like shutting itself off randomly (like when im trying to use it ), and the picture quality is too low to do anything but take pictures of my mug, (nice n bluury so know one can see it) or maybe my car models if ppl like blurry pics.

So tomorrow its back to future shop for this sack-of-shit and tell them it doesnt work and sucks ass anyways, and no, I dont want another shit one.

So this royally fucks my plans for posting up pics of my car models, and tons and tons of other shit I had planned for the cam. (and I mean I had tons of shit I wanted to do with it !!!)

Ok. Im done.

Edit: I bitched at the guy who worked the customer service desk (he didnt deserve my yelling, but he got it anyways) and told them that the camera is busted. They didnt have anymore of the one I had in stock, and told me I would have to wait a week or so for a replacement. I bitched and bitched until they were sick of it, they gave me the next camera up in price ($125 when the one I bought was $80). I think they were just tired of listning, but it made me happy. I feel bad sometimes cause I think I take advantage of the futureshop "extended" warentees cause I buy it on everything, and I always end up bringing it back to bitch cause its not what I wanted (usuially its cause the salesperson doesnt know jack about the products they are trying to sell, and they say something about a product, which is not true)and I end up getting a better one for free, or it busts after the company stops making that product anymore, and instead of sending it for repair, I just start yellin till I get a better one than the one I origionally paid for.

Id think that by now they would check my name in the computer before trying to sell me the extended warentee, and just not mention it.

How much did that web cam cost? You can get a decent digital camera for $200-300...but I can definitely relate to the budget crunch.
