Wheel Wobble 05 Escalade ESV

I have a wobbling wheel after replacing what i thought was a bent axle on my 05 Escalade ESV...this would be rear driver wheel.

replaced axle, bearing, and seal. still wobbling

noticed something loose inside the axle housing but only when axle was completely out.

any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Re: Wheel Wobble 05 Escalade ESV

I'm not sure how I have missed seeing this post for the past nearly 3 months....

You don't mention whether or not you confirmed the issue was not a bent wheel. Have you moved the left rear wheel to another location to confirm if it's a problem with the wheel or that corner of the vehicle? If it's not the axle and the brakes are not binding on that corner, pretty much the only thing left that would wobble with every rotation is the wheel.

Fixed this long time ago. Combination of bent axle and wheel not installed properly.

With new tires truck rolls along great now.

Valuable learning for me.
