Hello.
I have a 1996 Eldorado ETC with 4.6 Ltr. Northstar, 65000 K, runs great, but some times the temp gauge will get up to the 2/3 mark or a little more. Usually just starting out runs in the middle of gauge for several miles, 10-15 mi. I have had this system flushed before and it has good dexcool. Will a faulty thermostat cause the temp to run a little high? Thanks Ellis479 |

Re: 1996 Eldorado ETC Thermostat?
Yes, a sticking thermostat could cause this. Have the head gaskets ever been done on this? Also, be sure to check the operation of the cooling fans.
