Prestone Extended Life Antifreeze/Coolant

From the Toyota Owners Manual -
Only use "Toyota Super Long Life Coolant" or similar high quality ethylene glycol based non-silicate, not-amine, not-nitrite, and non-borate coolant with long-life hybride organic acid technology. (Coolant with long-life hybrid organic acid technology is a combination of low phosphates and organic acids.)
Toyota dealers says not to use it while prestone says it is ok

Did any one try Prestone in their corolla.
thanking you in advance for your help

Re: Prestone Extended Life Antifreeze/Coolant

This is one of the great mysteries of life. I have used Prestone green antifreeze in my 1996 Toyota since it was new. My radiator started leaking a little after about 17 years. Did the green antifreeze cause this? Who knows. I still use Prestone. I have also used it in my 2000 Toyota with no problems with the cooling system up to this point.

Use either one, just don't mix them.
