Infamous Cavalier. cranks wont stay running

i have an infamous 1998 chevrolet cavalier 2.2L 5 speed. i am having issues with it starting, turning over, and immediately dying.

it has a new alternator. battery. and crankshaft position sensor.

my engine light will come on periodically.

occassionally i can start my car and it stays running strong with no problem.

when i turn the car on, i turn the key to start the engine and it will crank, turn over, and die. then my theft light flashes and stays on. once off after being able to start car, i am able to turn off car(without completely removing key), and start right up again repeatedly.

radio is pulled out of dash because i was checking for issues and the problem has persisted.

all of your help will be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Your problem is with the anti theft system. https://www.google.com/search?q=98+c...utf-8&oe=utf-8
