Electrical Issue 2000 Durango
Will not start. Engine turns over fine. Have electric to lights, radio, everything but the fuel pump, coil and fuel gauge. Ignition switch and fuel pump check out okay. Checked fuses, okay. Vehicle has an add on after market remote start/security system, has been working fine for years. Any suggestions?

If you know where the various pieces of the aftermarket security system are installed, track down the starter disable relay and bypass it to see if that takes care of things. I've read about installers interrupting the fuel pump circuit instead of the starter relay, and by doing so, if the relay fails, the engine stalls and refuses to restart.
