Hi All!

I'm new, and this is my first post, and it's pretty standard and I'm sure you've had these questions before.

I'm going to buy a R33 GTST in the next month. I'm in Brisbane, QLD. I'd like to know a couple o' things:

1. Is there any Import Car Yards to definetly stay away from?

2. Is there a Skyline/Import whizz kid (mechanic/tech expert) that can I can contact to check out the car before I buy it, and are there any good import/skline/turbo workshops that i should go to in Brisvegas??

3. Is there a buyer's guide on the web that points out what to look for when buying a skyline? As with everyone else, I don't want to get a lemon.

Thanks in advance for any help, casue any advice is needed. Hope to see y'all in my skyline real soon!

I as well will be looking for a Skyline in the next 2-4 weeks ( R33 gtst) and also live in Brisbane and I too would love to know the answers to the above questions as well.

which import places have you tried so far?? Or are you buying privately?

I have only looked at the brisbane car yards.. Jmart, Advanced imports, Super car word and i was going to try a few down in underwood and the goldcoast and also a few that are advertised in the trading post. I was considering importing one myself through a company called SVI. My friend imported a soarer TT through those guys and said they are pretty good. I have heard a 2 people say that know. I would rather buy one that is already in OZ, i guess I will see what happens

I can recommend Settlers Car co at Gympie road kedron, the guy was really helpful and willing to let me take a couple of his cars for a spin.

But sux to them cause I found a cheaper one in sydney
