Chaparral 2D, Fujimi, 1/24

Finally finished another racecar, fittingly on the day of the LeMans race, even though I decided to build the winning car of the 1966 1000km Ring and not the also included LM version.

The kit was made by Fujimi but is a reissue of an older Modelers Kit. Not a lot of parts, not much under the bonnet, but a nice kit, except for the scoop and the lower sides of the cowling beeing made of black plastic and thus require lots of primer to appear white...
Lights, fuel caps and mirrors are supplied as white metal parts, decals are nice and thin, but very sensitive to softening solutions, so be careful.

Painted with TS26, Mr. Super Clear on Top, OOB except for a few wires on the engine.
