Start/run VR6 problem

New to the thread looking for help.
I have a 95 Passat GLX VR6 with 113000 miles on it. Have owned it since 1998. Recently started having some starting problems with it. When I start it, it will not run on 6 cyl. for 10-12 seconds after starting. When it finally runs on all 6, it runs fine until I shut it off and restart it again. Doesn't matter if motor is hot or cold, if it's off for 10 min., 10 hours or 10 seconds. It will not run on all 6 for 10 sec. every time I start it.
I replaced plugs, wires about 1 year ago but checked them and they all ohm OK, new coil pack, crank sensor, checked fuel pressure and it runs @ 51psi, 60psi with vacuum disconnected and holds 50 psi after shut down.
I'm stumped. Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated
