Lamborghini Murcielago SV

Hey Guys

This is part of my Lambo Multi build, http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul....php?t=1139183

This is one of my all time fav cars, I love the Murcielago's lines & the SV is the epitome of supercar!!! I Love it!!!

Aoshimas 1/24 SV kit with the small SV decals & I used the Aoshima PE set which is very good also. Colour is Testors Hot Pink Pearl acrylic jar paint & clearcoated with 2K clear. Hobby Design CF & a little SM Clear CF. Reasonably happy with how it came out, made a few blunders I havent made in years, like getting glue on the body & dropping parts, Aoshima did a good job with this kit, theres a few things that make it a bit fiddly & doesnt feel very robust, the instructions could be clearer where some of the parts go etc, but overall a very enjoyable build.
This also marks my 50th model completed in about 20yrs (average of 2.5 a year....)

Family Shot

Thanks for looking, I'm still working on the other lambos, trying to get them finished for October's NZ Model Car show.

Cheers
Ash

I must admit I was sceptical, but it came out really well, I used 2 10ml jars & added a little bit of acrylic thinners, Ive also done a Cobra with the same testors range, a nice pearl blue. The pearl / metallic particles are nice & small & look very inscale.
