self acelleration

Hello everyone!!
my name is Michael and have a question. why is my 1992 ford explorer self accellerating between 15- and 25 mph? need help thanks

Welcome to the forum!

Please explain a bit more what you are referring to, as well as what you have tried to diagnose the issue.

Is the vehicle accelerating from 15 mph to 25 mph even if you don't depress the accelerator? Is the truck accelerating up to 15 or 25 mph as soon as you release the brake pedal from a full stop? Does it do this all the time or only some times? If only sometimes, does there seem to be a pattern? Does the engine idle speed seem high when in Park or Neutral?
