EEC IV Need replacement IC for Fuel Injector control circuit
I pulled the ECM from a 1989 Escort TBI. The injector is not firing and I have power to the injector as well as having replaced with a new one. I assume it is the ECM at this point. I opened it up and de-soldered the injector driver IC but cannot determine or cross reference it. The numbers on the chip are
185 684T01 IQ8901

You might try the Ford Escort Owners forum. The guys in the tuning section might be able to help you. Here is the link to their specific sub-forum
