FIAT Mefistofele 1/12

Here I want to show you my FIAT Mefistofele.
It’s the rerelease from Italeri with a few changes. Completely scratchbuilt seat, remodeled cooler, plastic wood replaced by real one and missing rivets added (about 350 pieces).
The springs are wrapped with cord as they are on the real car.
The valve springs have been replaced by selfmade springs made of silver wire.
I used the Zero Paints Red for the London bus. And Gunze clear.
The base is completely scratchbuilt from wood and a variety of Evergreen profiles. The parquet pieces are cut from meter stripes and glued on, then sanded and painted with shellac.

Just went through your WIP-thread and realized quite a few fantastic details that you've added. Model is a stunner and your work with the base is fantastic (although that parquet flooring makes me wonder if you have a little too much time on your hands ;-) )
