I was driving home tonight & suddenly my 1993 pontiac grand prix(3.4L DOHC)started cutting out at 1500-2500 RPM. I noticed when I put the accelerator pedal to the floor, the problem subsided. When I got home I restarted the car...it started up fine but after 5 seconds upon startup it idled like it had a really bad miss in the engine. I looked at my spark plug wires and can't really tell if one is arcing. But I did notice that there was some wear on my AC coolant lines in the front of the engine(where one of the spark plugs were laying). Advice anyone, does this sound more serious than a acring spark plug? Another thing I went to check for making sure that all of my plugs were secure on the distributor on the front of the engine. I felt one loose so I put it back on...I let the engine run for 2 minutes...it ran smoothly then the rough idle problem happened again & the car dies out.

Re: Loss of Power & rough idle
Id try the fuel filter first, most people dont change them regular and that can lead to injector problems also.
