tapping in head, valve adjustment

k i started my 90 ls engine and the head is tapping real bad and loud. so what is that ? do i need to adjust my valve ? how do u adjust the valves ?

If you don't have experience with adjusting valve lash then have a shop do it for you, you can really mess up the motor if it is done wrong.

i know how to adjust the valves, ive did it on my stock civic motor, but my stock civic motor rock arms dont look like the teg rocker arms, i just need to know where do i stick my feeler gauge to check clearence

Insert it where the red arrow is pointing and I know that the pic is of a gsr head but it is basically the same thing as to what you are tring to do.
