2000 Honda Accord , hard to start in the Cold
I have a question, I have a 2000 Honda accord and in the cold it has a hard time starting. It will turn over but it is like it is not starting right away. I also notice there are times when it starts to turn over but then it dies out. I was just wondering if anyone had a clue what may be going on?
Thanks |

Re: 2000 Honda Accord , hard to start in the Cold
I went out to my car today in the morning and I turned it over just a bump. then I waited a few seconds and ten started it up and it started.
Weird, I am not sure what it is. Anyone have any ideas? Sensor or something else? I do have this cleaner in it called 'Seafoam' I had just put in the other day. It was below freezing this morning. I am thinking I will still have the same problem later so why I am asking for any ideas. thanks |

Re: 2000 Honda Accord , hard to start in the Cold
You probably have found the problem.
Try to drive around to use the gas that contains seafoam. Fill up again and see what happens. I remember my Accord behaved weirdly when I used a cleaner that contained Techron. I do not know what happens but it is possible that this is how the cleaner "works". Good luck, Sam
