I bought a 89 F-350 truck some time ago with the intention of rebuilding the diesel engine and using it in another truck. Well, several years has passed and the engine with ZF-5 still attached is still sitting in the corner of my garage. It doesn't look like I'm going to get around to doing anything with it now, at least in the near future. I'd rather sell it than scrap it, but I'm not sure what that old diesel would be worth. The transmission will go with it. The last time it ran is when I brought it home. It's just a plain old NA IDI engine. Any ideas on what I could ask for it or would anybody here like to buy it?
