brake conversion

Does anyone know of a drum to disc rear brake conversion kit for the 2006 Equinox?

AFAIK there are no such kits available for the 2005-2006 Equinox/Torrent. In theory, it's possible to complete the conversion using parts from the newer 2007-2009 Equinox/Torrent which does have rear disc brakes. However, it would be very hard (maybe impossible) to do this and keep ABS & Stabilitrak if your vehicle is equipped with it. By the time you go through the effort and spend the money for all the parts, it would be far easier and probably cheaper to just buy a 2007-2009 Equinox/Torrent.

This is probably not the answer you were hoping for. The cold, hard truth is that there is not enough demand to make it worthwhile for any company to offer a kit for the Equinox.
