Lexus LFA

One japanese rocket is finished, so itīs time to start another one
Nice model by Tamiya, iīm planning to paint it in white pearl with gunmetail rims. I donīt know the colour scheme for interior. Red or blue
So here are some photos. I used the Gunze black surfacer for the first time. Itīs superb product

Re: Lexus LFA

Thanks itīs really good kit, but i was dissapointed with mold lines on chassis parts. They arenīt visible if the model is on wheels, but when you can see the axle and suspension, it is ugly. The price of this kit is quite high, so it could be better..
Anyway... Parts in aluminium. I used a light layer of paint on engine and differential so there are a black shades on them and it looks more realistic, iīm very satisfied with it also the exhaust system is in Alclad chrome. Threre will be some other colours to look better

Re: Lexus LFA

something new.. wheels in gunmetal, brakes are also finished with drybrush on rotors to look like carbon-ceramics. the photo isnīt quite good, but i like the finish. some other parts are painted, also the exhaust system. there will be some drybrush, wash on it later, because he donīt look really good.. so here are the better photos, i hope

Re: Lexus LFA

Thank you Black surfacer is good. Surfacer is important for colours to adhere. If you spray black surfacer, the black parts or areas isnīt necessary to paint again and I used it on engine for some kind of "preshading"

Re: Lexus LFA

Iīve this kit waiting its turn on a shelve.

Itīs a good kit but it has a BIG cons. Itīs only RHD (right hand drive) and I wanted to build with left hand steering.

Great work on yours.
