Engine ticks allot when warm only

Hello everyone. My 1999 cavalier 2200 ticks insanely when its warm so much so its almost embarassing at a drive thru ! But it goes away when the RPMs go up . Any idea where to start? Thank you!

Connect a mechanical gauge and read actual oil pressure when the engine is at full operating temperature. If it is below 10 PSIG the lifters are probably draining and unable to take up the lash of the valve train.

Greeetings . I Put in the suggested synthetic oil. No improvements. Still ticks like hades.Any other suggestions?
I did not do a oil PSI test as I did not have access to the correct lines/guage
