Headlights charge my battery; huh?
Ok, let's see who's run across this before. Vehicle: 07' Pontiac Grand Prix. Charging system voltage slowly drops while the engine is running. However, if the headlights are turned on the charging system returns to normal operation. Foot note; high beams come on sometimes when either blinkered is turned on....

Re: Headlights charge my battery; huh?
Sounds like a grounding issue. I would check and clean every ground you can find.

Re: Headlights charge my battery; huh?
Thanks aleekat. I had thought that originally with the high beams/turn signal issue, but really didn't think that would have such an affect on the charging. I'll check it out and let ya know how it goes.
