installing a new distributor in a 1993 z28 camaro lt1

Just wanted you to know how to do it , the lt1 has a spline shaft, on that shaft you you find the splined shaft will only go one way! Look on the spline and you will see it has two splines that make one big one.. install it slow and it will only go one way! Hope this helps! Just pull old one out, install new one , no timing,, no #1, just install new one in, thats it.ps if its the pin type, it will only go one way too. I put this on here because I could not find any imfo on doing the lt1 , so I wanted to help ,
