Ferrari 458 Italia

Well it's finally finished. This is the nice Revell kit. It's maybe the best Revell kit I build yet.

I used Blu Tour De France from Ferrari (Zero Paints) and clearcoated it with 2K Zero Paints. Interior is Ocker Brown from Zero Paints.

I'm very happy with the result. The car looks killer with these wheels and paintjob. The Revell kit is very good. The original wheels are useless, but any wheel suits this car. The Hobby Design PE set is cheap but not that good. I used the mesh parts and a few others but I still got a few parts left over which doesn't look good.

Here's a list of accesoires I used:

- Hobby Design Novitec Rosso wheels
- Hobby Design simple PE set
- E-Jan 3D logo's
- Hobbby Design Carbon decals
- Grey interiorflocking
- Seatbelts

Now I'm going to start on the Ducati 1199 Panigale

Kris.

Great work as always! Love the Colour! & the wheels look awesome! But do make the rear brake look very small...

Re: Ferrari 458 Italia

I agree, nice colour, and very well built, but the wheels are too big for my taste, the brake discs look kind of lost.

Re: Ferrari 458 Italia

Very nice job, like the shining paint and interior. I can suggest that rear wheels need some better alignment on the fenders and, as already mentioned, brakes and calipers should stay very very close to the rims. I know that's not easy when you choose to change wheels.

Max :-)
