All,
I am in the processing of researching diagnostic scan tools for my '99 Infiniti I-30t. I've pretty much settled down to two makes: AutoTap and AutoXray. Just wondering if anybody out there has either of these two products and would like to share comments on them. Comments on other tools, are also appreciated. As for why I am purchasing a scan tool: -As an engineer, I'd like to learn more about cars -Analyze performance -Self-Diagnose and attempt to repair simple problems. What I'm looking for in the tool: -OBD-II generic parameters -possibly CAN protocol compatibility (need to look into this more) -Retrieve data and plot results on computer -Price range: $200-$400 -Upgrade compatibility Thanks! |

autoxray is a waste of money.. They have no respect for existing customers and want too much money for upgrades.

Re: OBD-II Scan Tools
Look at our stuff www.autoenginuity.com. We have a lot more support and features then AutoTap. I think you'll find we are far superior.
