Team Maxima or whomever is concerned

[04 Maxima]

New to the page. I have a 04 Nissan Maxima that lost power as i was driving. When i say lost power i mean i was driving about 40 mph when i could feel the car lose power. The car was still running but would not rev up in drive or reverse gear. Park and neutral it will rev but not in drive or reverse. Also when at a complete stop shifting from park to drive the car goes into gear but giving it gas does not do anything and i can feel the car rolling as it is in gear. Samething for reverse gear nothing happens as i give it gas but the car will roll in reverse. I don't have a clue as to what that can be if anyone has experienced this and can help i would appreciate.
