**please help, she won't fire after lim replacement**
Ok need some help everyone. I just replaced the lower intake gasket and now she wont fire??
1997 GTP I took my time and meticulously reassembled everything!! So I know everything is right back where its supposed to be. any ideas what too look for or check would be greatly appreciated. There is no spark. Getting fuel to the plugs. I even replaced the ignition module to no avail. I got all new plugs, wires when I did the job. Coils are only few years old. Never had a problem before the job. Please point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance everyone. |

Any spark to the plugs, injector pulse, will it start spraying carb cleaner into the intake, all basic diagnostics.

No spark on any plug?
3.1/3.4 or 3.8? If 3.1/3.4, make sure all 3 connectors to the ICM are fastened.... Can't think of anything you would disconnect on a 3.8 to do that job...... |

Re: **please help, she won't fire after lim replacement**
(3.8L SC) Ok so after some testing today. ICM is good (had tested) So far there is spark to every plug. used a spark tester. (Although the light does not seem very bright)??, the tester did light up on every cylinder. Also checked injector pulse. Every injector plug pulsed. Checked fuel pressure, seemed ok? @45 psi when turned on, and @50-55psi when cranking. I'm stumped?? Should the plug tester be really bright? is it possible even know its sparking there is not enough? Sprayed carb cleaner in intake, still nothing??

What are you using for a spark tester ? I use an ST-125....you will hear a distinct snap and see a good spark....
