Grigio Medio Enzo

I have an FXX I’d like to build (in red) so I thought I’d do a dry run with the standard Enzo kit first just to see how it goes together.

There are no Grigio Medio Enzo’s (yet?). But I thought it would look good since the 458 and 430s I’ve seen look nice. I used Ocean Gray as a facsimile. I’ve already started painting and assembling the body.

I used cigarette foil for the heat shield material.

I know the interior should be carbon fiber from the factory, but I decided to “carpet” it with some old Testors tan that dries dead flat and coarse.
To complement the tan I went with a Chamois color for the upholstery.

All the lights have been installed into the rear fascia and the doors are done.

Re: Grigio Medio Enzo

I dunno about that. Just something to work on between dry times on a larger project.

I decided semi-gloss black would look better than chrome or silver for the wheels.

Re: Grigio Medio Enzo

In my opinion, it will be. I learn something from every build you create. That means a LOT!!

That is very kind of you to say. That means a lot to me. Thank you.

I textured the cam covers before painting them red.

Re: Grigio Medio Enzo

You're welcome. I may end up with an Enzo kit eventually. I'll keep watching. I DEFINITELY have to have that color on something!!

Re: Grigio Medio Enzo

Looking great!
It's a fantastic kit to build
Only drama I found was the rear hatch not fitting/closing very well

Keep it up!

Re: Grigio Medio Enzo

Brakes and the rear body section. I replaced the Ferrari lettering on the calipers with my own since they needed to be black to go with the yellow.

Re: Grigio Medio Enzo

Thanks!

The front (and most of the rear) suspension are installed as well as the main bulk of the engine.
