Special on decals for the month of July

I've decided to run a special on my tuner decals for the month of July. Normally, they are $2 each. I'll run a special of 3 decals for $5 this month. That saves you $1, plus shipping is free in the 48 continental US states. All others add $1.

How to order Tuner/Sponsor decals:

The Tuner/Sponsor decals come with 78 manufacturer logos in a variety of colors

The price is $2 for each set (shipping included) in the lower 48 US states. All others add $1 per shipment (not per decal). Order as many sets as you like.

Here's how to order:

Place the quantity desired next to each color listed below. For example (black-2, white-1).

black
white
yellow
red
blue
light gray
medium gray
metallic silver
metallic gold

For paypal purchases, copy the above information into the notes section and make payment to [email protected].

For standard mail purchases, send check or money order (international money order if outside the US) to:

Mark Fergel
750 Eastwood Drive
Richmond, VA 23236

Please make sure to include your mailing address, email address and the quantity information listed above.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

May I know if the lighter colors are fully opaque, and are these silk-screened or ALPS decals?

I don't have a color image to show, as the master artwork is actually black. I tell the printer to interpret the color based on the black. I know several guys on the board have purchased them, such as Tonioseven. They may have some pictures of their models to show. Here is a Porsche with the black:

The stripe was done using the same printing process (metallic silver with a black shadow).

These decals are printed using an ALPS printer for all but the black, light gray, medium gray, and blue. They are first printed using white ink. They are then printed using the color of the decal. I've had no problems with transparency. I had taken some yellow ones and applied them to a black spray can lid and they looked pretty good. The black, light gray, medium gray, and blue are printed on a color laser printer.

The decals are about 5/16 of an inch wide.

No. I get asked to make decals all of the time and the time involved in tracking down the logos and setting it up for printing isn't worth it. By time you figure in my cost of paper, ink, shipping, etc., I'm not really making money on these. I made them for myself and figured that others might find them useful. Sorry. There is just too much time involved in doing them and with working full time, running my own model web site, taking care of a 2-year old, housework, yardwork, model building, etc., I just don't have the time.

I may be wrong, but I think LauBak had some decals available which covered the Japanese manufacturers?

Either way, with the huge variety PCModeller has on his decal sheet, seems to me you could get some and still make out pretty good if you discarded the manufacturers you don't like.
