Anyone owned a Lesabre and a Century?

I've had my LeSabre for a long time. In starting to think about what kind of a car I want to get next, I am thinking of a Century.

I haven't ruled out getting another Lesabre, or a foreign car, just thinking about a Buick Century. Does anyone have both a Century and a Lesabre?

What is is like driving a Century after having a Lesabre?

Anything you can say about it?

Thank you,
Chris.

You won't be happy with a Century after the Lesabre.

I agree with Max. A guy down the street has one and it looks a whole lot smaller and less than the Lesabre! It does have the 15" chrome wheels on it, but that is all I can say it has a jump on a Lesabre! How about a jump up to the Lacross?

If you're looking for a late 90's/early 2000's Buick in that size range, I'd look at a Regal instead.

You could also upgrade to a Park Avenue

Re: Anyone owned a Lesabre and a Century?

In looking at Lesabre, the 2000-2005 Gen; seems to be a huge problem with the 2002 model.

Way, way more problems with that year then any other. I thought they where pretty similar? Why so many problems with the 2002?

When looking, the 2002 model is all over Craigslist for sale. In some markets, out of 8 Lesabres, 6 are 2002.

Wondering if the reasons so many 2002's are for sale is because they have so many problems with that year?

Why so much problems with 2002?

Thank you,
Chris.

Re: Anyone owned a Lesabre and a Century?

I had a 99 Century that I loved only problem was a transmission 7 times when new but I blame the 7 trip back to dealer on a very poor trans man.
Century was totaled in a bad wreck so I started looking for another then started shopping for a Lesabre. Bought a 2005 Lesabre that is much bigger nicer to drive and even though it has a bigger engine I get better gas mileage. So I love my Lesabre more than the Century and also more than my 07 Lacrosse.
