2015 Aoshima new kits
Apparently, Aoshima is going to unveil two 2015 releases at the Hobby
Forum on Nov. 9th in Kanagawa Japan. Both are expected to be a variation of existing kits, and one of which is announced on their Japanese blog: Countach '88 by injection http://ameblo.jp/aoshima-kumablog/day-20141026.html That's the US spec with 35 HP less, right? AFAIK, the injection Countach has never been kitted, but the question is...is there really such a high demand for the US spec Countach kit? The car itself doesn't appeal to me, but the kit will make L150 conversion easier, I suppose... |

Re: 2015 Aoshima new kits
I'm more interested in the Crown Athlete.
I will probably get the Countach to round out the collection, though the choice baffles me. Seems to me the anniversary or the JGTC version would have been much more attractive. |

Re: 2015 Aoshima new kits
I don't think it was bad. Maybe very complicated to finish lol. I guess Aoshima just wanted a try at it. Either kits are excellent tho.

Re: 2015 Aoshima new kits
Fujimi used to own a real 5000QV, so the kit shouldn't be bad. It's tricky to
put the chassis to the body, and LP400 and LP500 may have some accuracy problems, though... Fujimi's Countach 5000 QV is carbureted, while Aoshima's upcoming kit is fuel injected (but not the US version because it won't come with the US bumpers). I believe the only FE Countach kit is Revell/Monogram's Anniversary, so 5000 QV FE is the first in 1/24 plastic. Aventador 50th Anniversario is nice. |
