Finally things start to roll! The Very First official news start arriving about next years shows.
Sadly; I can not make Le Mans, but Members Meeting is the target and hope these same kind of little official informations would start to arrival also of that show.

May I ask what condition the #16R is today? Have you kept the car still in Orange livery and so on?
It has not seen anywhere for a while, so it would be interesting to hear some facts about it.

Drivers parade is on friday afternoon / evening.

It's not decided how the parade is gona look like.
When I know some more, I'll write it down, but the idea with GTR's is correct.

But where is the Members Meeting brief!!!

Actually there are two different kind of parades: drivers parade in the city center on friday, and normally a support race before the actual 24h.
The support race isn't a real parade, but they could decide to use this opportunity for a GTR anniversary.
I can imagine the organisers don't want to be blamed for overheating GTR's in the slow going drivers parade in the city center on friday.
A GTR support race or fast driving parade on the track (saturday morning) looks a bit more realistic option to me.
Let's wait and see.

An amazing chance for the owners of GTR's to actually get them back onto the Le-man's circuit when it is a circuit and not just a normal road. Been so long since I was there I am not even sure they still use part of the public roads anymore.

Yes.
Road closed a few hours before training / qualifying / race.
Nice to drive around on the road where race cars pass a few hours after, part of the atmosphere

Yes I remember doing that in 1988 in my Lightweight E Type, also remember the fear of overheating in the crowded town as well, you could hardly move for both cars and people.
