2001 Park Avenue 3.8

Car has been stalling when stopped sitting in driveway or when slowing down for a red light or stop sign. Sometimes starts right away others takes 20 minutes. No codes no service engine light. Being told camshaft sensor crankshaft sensor egr valve. Got all data at library did egr test all indicate it is good. Any thoughts? Thanks Did not have enough time to print out info on the sensors

The key to this is when it won't start to check for spark and injector pulse. Or see if it fires with some small shot of starting fluid.

If it does not start with good fuel pressure @ 40-psi+ and the fuel injectors are firing, I would suspect the CKPS, or ICM as the fault. As mentioned, if it starts with starting fluid, check fuel pressure . Here are some tips for diagnosing ignition (ICM & CKPS) failure. http://easyautodiagnostics.com/gm_ig...n_module_1.php
