I've heard mixed things about them. I was considering the AGXs when making my choices for struts, but eventually "settled" for Tokico Illuminas.

I'd say save up and get the better struts. I have neuspeed sport springs also, and the car rides better than stock with the tokicos.

About your settings. 1 is softer than OEM. I'd ride around town on 3-5 (depending on your street conditions) if you get the AGXs, and 7 or 8 at the track. You can't have them too hard or you will bounce and loose more traction.

Here's some reviews on the AGXs. I simply opened google.com and looked for "KYB AGX product review". Nothin too hard....

I have them and I haven't had any problems. They are on ground control coilovers lowered about 2 inches in the front and 1.5 inches in the rear. Mine are 4 way adjustable and I have them set at 2 all the time. Considering they are adjustable and only $340 for all 4, you can't go wrong. I'd recommend them!

i would also recommend the AGX's. you can't beat the bang for the buck. there are better shocks but for as much as you're paying, you'll get a lot out of these. i had my setting at 1 at one point. way too soft. then i went to 4 all around, too stiff for everyday use but hella fun when driving hard. so i usually toss between 2 and 3. just to give you an example of how flexible it is. koni's are 8 way, but they're also pricier and IMO, not that much better.
