Question 94 lumina started stalling

Ok, so my 1994 chevy lumina euro coupe 3.1L has started stalling now that it is getting colder outside. This morning on my way to school. I started my car and put it in reverse and backed out a little bit and it stalled out. So I started it back up and it was ok. It acted like it was going to stall out again but it didn't. This has happened a total of 3 times now in the past week. Does anyone know what the problem could be and how I can fix this?

Also I do have a fuel problem as well. My car smells of VERY STRONG gas when sitting. And I am getting 11.9 mpg in the city and 14.7 mpg on the highway. Oh, and one more thing. I slowly lose coolant in my resovoir tank. It is a very slow leak and only leaks while the car runs.

You need to track down the fuel leak first, check for fuel in the hose to the press. regulator.

Where is that hose located? Do you have a picture that you can show me to find it?

It is connected to the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail, it is small about 1/4 inch. Go to autozone.com repair guides for pics, or google 3.1 fuel pressure regulator.

Alright, thanks. I will check this when I get home from school today before I go into work. Is it easily accessible too?

Re: 94 lumina started stalling

Is it possible to get to my fuel pressure regulator without removing the intake manifold? Because I have tried looking for it before and seen online that it is in the intake manifold?

I'm not really finding the regulator.

Re: 94 lumina started stalling

The regulator vacuum hose isn't leaking fuel so that isn't my problem apparently.
