Kawasaki ZX14R Special Color
Hi. After about 20 years in car modeling I decided to start a bike. As far as I opened the box my first reaction was "there´s no body in here..."
![]() I picked up a Kawasaki ZX-14R which looks sexy in white and damn bad @ss in black/red. I chose the black version, which will look great with an orange/black Hayabusa like in this picture: Being that most of the build is made with screws I decided to sand clean every engine part to build the main block and then paint the little bits. Also, I did the same with the frame and "body" parts and screwed up most of it together to see if everything fitted well (of course Tamiya made me happy again). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I have already painted most of the engine and the frame/body parts. Will be posting asap. C&C welcome and expected

Re: Kawasaki ZX14R Special Color
Hi and welcome to an addictive part of modelling, got to love the shape of those cowls! I'm not to fond of the 1200+ cc bikes but I haven't seen a thread on one of these. Looking forward to your next post. With 20 years of car building you'll definately have some tricks to use on a larger scale build!

Re: Kawasaki ZX14R Special Color
Although I am not that fond of big cc's either, I am waiting to see what you will come up with in terms of colour.
Looking forward to the progress |
