'02 airbag arming sensor connector wiring

I replaced the radiator fan motor/fan assy today on my '02 cavalier due to a bad bearing squeak... I accidentally pulled the wires out of the front airbag sensor (161997309). I'm headed to the store to pick up a splice AC Delco part # PT814 to fix my mistake. Sensor looks fine, just need the connector.

My question is does it matter how this is spliced in? Is there a positive or negative? One wire is yellow, the other black with a white stripe. I'm not sure which goes to which side of the connector. Thanks!
