Porsche 914/6 GT
Hello, this is my first every thread on this forum.
I have always loved Porsche and one of my favorites is the 914/6 GT. It has always frustrated me that no kit of this car existed. So I decide to take matters into my own hands and create one. Here is how I did it. This is the kit I started with: ![]() I originally had hoped to create the flairs by gluing the removed sections of the fenders to strip styrene extensions but quickly realized this wasn't going to work: ![]() ![]() Fortunately I was able to acquire a used body and use the removed the fenders: ![]() ![]() After cutting them to the approximate shape I attached them to the extensions: ![]() After sanding them to shape and some filler to blend them into the body here is how they turned out: ![]() |

Re: Porsche 914/6 GT
My vision is to upgrade the Revell kit by adding parts from Fujimi's Enthusiast Porsche 911 kit. So with that in mind I start to upgrade the chassis.

Re: Porsche 914/6 GT
Thank you for the comments. Since the rear wheel wells where enlarged I had to rebuild the entire trunk (boot) area.

Thank you for the kind comments. Here is the final state of the body after a little more putty work and a coat of primer.
