2001 dodge 2500 speedometer
i have a 2001 dodge 2500 cummins and the speedometer and odometer have stopped working. what can i do to fix this? fuse? or wire?

The speed sensor, mounted on the rear differential, or it's wiring may be the issue.
You should have a P0500 trouble code. Turn the keyswitch On, then Off, then On, then Off, then On and look at the odometer display for trouble codes.

i did the "on" and "off" circulation and it came up with five codes, wondering if you could tell me what the others meant, and maybe how to fix them!

Hi I haven't had problems with the speedometer, yet nock on wood. My problems have been all fuel, went through two fuel pumps, injector pump. so I put a FASS fuel system in. I just wanted to send so info your way. have you put the low pressure light in yet for fuel pressure. If not I recommend you do it a must it flashes to tell you your pressure is low to the point where you will burn up your injector pump. A $1600.00 plus repair not including labor to do it.

I have a lift pump fuel pressure gauge inside the cab to watch the fuel pressure very close.
