Ford escape wierd noise

My wife's Escape is making a really weird noise, and were not sure what it is, I took it to a mechanic, and he said it was a Left wheel bearing, so I changed that and its still making a noise, here's a link I uploaded to YouTube, Definitely up for suggestions, Thanks! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0GkY...ature=youtu.be

Re: Ford escape wierd noise

I'd shop around for a transmission shop. It may just be the axle shaft as it enters the trans, but it could be anything. I've never heard that noise before. Try and find a shop with a life time guarantee/warrantee. When my '02 Escape 4x4 tranny died, I paid an extra $200 for a lifetime all inclusive warrantee that covered everything in the tranny for as long as I owned it. Less than a year after the rebuild, the case that the clutch packs sit in cracked open. They covered everything including the tow into the shop.
