1998 Grand Cherokee Lmtd intermittent bogging

Hello to all. Been awhile since I've been back here. '98 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 5.2L automatic. For the first today, my jeep started bogging out while I was driving down the road. I was doing 55, and then it wouldn't give me any throttle when I push the pedal. I slowed all the way to the stop, turned it off, got out and inspected it front to back top to bottom and then started it back up. Now it's running completely fine again. It seemed like it was losing fuel. I am just a little bit past an oil change, and my muffler just happened to fall off a couple days ago but I doubt it has anything to do with either of those. Pretty sure it sounds like a fuel problem. Any ideas anybody?
