This new cannister Purge Valve introduced in 2009 caused all kinds of new headaches for the cars and trucks that were migrated over to them. From Evap codes to lean codes to stalling issue it can really be troublesome since they are the link between multiple systems and can be intermittent. If you have any evap codes or rich/lean codes especially the P1450 code you need to do my simple test as shown in my video, I give you multiple examples on a few different vehicles. The worst vehicles for these concerns have been the Fusion and Escape.
