Transmission problem

I have a 1997 Dodge Dakota with a 3.9 L with a automatic transmission. I took my truck to AAmco to have my transmission rebuilt. When they finished the truck about a month later. One of the first issues that I had a short while after was having to give it more throttle in order for it to accelerate faster from a stop, like it was starting off in a higher gear and giving codes P1756 and P1757. I took it back to AAmco under the one year warranty that I had and they fixed the issue by replacing the governor pressure solenoid and sensor. This issue has been a continuous problem, and this has continued to happen when the warranty is no longer available. AAmco has told me that this could be an electrical issue that's causing the transmission to do this. The recent experiences that I have had are.

Not going into first gear from a dead stop

Not going into first gear when coming to a stop

When it does go into first gear it does not go into second gear, and continues to increase the rpm's with acceleration

What I have been doing to try to fix these issues, is to put the truck in park and go through each gear back up to park, and shut the truck off and restart it. This seems to help the issue for a limited time even though it still continues to have these issues. AAmco wants to do a expensive diagnostic to figure out what the issue is. Has anybody else had these issues, suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thank you
