towing a camper trailer

Currently I have a class B camper van. I'm interested in swapping it out for a V-6 Equinox with tow package and a ~2400 lb dry weight camper trailer. Anyone have a similar setup, or thoughts on this combination? Thanks.

Re: towing a camper trailer

Tow specs are 3500 lb, but actual people's experience is equally valuable to me.
