Taurus tire pressure alert, weird reset procedure
The wifes 2010 taurus popped up a tire pressure alert and she took it to our tire guy and he added some nitrogen, but didnt get rid of the alert.
It is a solid icon, not blinking. So we took it to the Ford dealer and they went around and checked the pressure. Then two guys got into the car three times, and we could see the seat going back and forth. What the heck? Well the 3rd time fixed the alert. I am sure they know of some button sequence to do this. Is it a secret diagnosis you can bring up?

Re: Taurus tire pressure alert, weird reset procedure
Are you certain it was just the seat going back and forth and not the whole car? I'm wondering if they were trying to move the car to activate the sensors in order to further troubleshoot.

Nope, car didn't move. It was on the rack, but the seat was definitely moving in a sporadic motion back and forth while they were sitting in it and you could see them reaching to the dash.
